Quality educational materials are key to good financial literacy
On the occasion of World and European Money Week, we participated in the conference "Financial Literacy for Generation Z" and emphasized the importance of financial education
On the occasion of the World and European Money Week, organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Faculty of Economics - Zagreb, on March 20, 2023, the conference "Financial Literacy for Generation Z" was held for students and high school students.
At the panel "Plan your money, plant your future", Miroslav Tariba from Callidus presented the Erasmus+ Piggy Bank project intended for financial literacy of the whole family, whose materials are available for free use on our platform O2 – Education to Sustainability.
"The lack of mandatory financial education through the education system is one of the key reasons why children and young people are an extremely vulnerable group when it comes to the level of financial literacy. We at Callidus are well aware of this problem, which is why we have been actively participating in the promotion of financial literacy as an extremely important life skill for some time. I am honored that on behalf of Callidus I had the opportunity to participate in this conference and officially mark World Money Week. We continue with activities on the occasion of Money Week through educational workshops with elementary school students in Rakovo potok", said Miro Tariba, Head of Development at Callidus.
Financial literacy is one of the key skills of the 21st century, so it is necessary to start with financial literacy during childhood. Learn more about our free financial literacy educational materials at PiggyBank page.
