Provedene prve edukacije nastavnika u sklopu projekta “DARoviti u fokusu”

April was marked by the training of 32 teachers from 3 different partner schools: Ante Kovačić Elementary School from Marija Gorica, Krapinske Toplice Elementary School and Ivo Kozarčanin Elementary School from Hrvatska Dubica.

Callidus as Project Holder "Giving in focus” organized education on the topic of giftedness and an entrepreneurial way of thinking, as well as methods and ways of incorporating content from the field of entrepreneurship and active citizenship into regular classes and extracurricular activities. In the long term, this project will enable elementary school students to improve their knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship and active citizenship, which will make them more competitive on the labor market and more socially engaged citizens.

As part of the education, teachers were introduced to different methods and ways of incorporating content from the field of entrepreneurship and active citizenship into regular classes and extracurricular activities. They learned how to recognize gifted students and how to develop their talents through an entrepreneurial mindset. This approach allows students to improve their skills in problem solving, creative thinking and teamwork.

In addition, teachers were given the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas and to acquire new knowledge that they will apply in their teaching. The project makes it possible to create a better connection between different schools and teachers and to improve the quality of education in primary schools. This initiative is important because it relies on the importance of developing entrepreneurial skills and active citizenship in students already in primary school. This approach enables students to become more competitive on the labor market and to become more actively involved in the social life of the community. In addition, this education represents a step forward in the development of the quality of education in Croatia, which will make students better prepared for the future.

We congratulate everyone who participated in this project on successfully completing their education and thank them for their contribution to the improvement of education in Croatia.

The project is financed from the EEA financial mechanism for the period from 2014 to 2021.
