We presented the O2 project on HRT and invited all citizens to visit the Callidus website and familiarize themselves with the Piggy Bank project.

Na HRT-u smo predstavili projekt PiggyBank kojim potičemo bolju financijsku pismenost

Did you know that only 33% adults are financially literate? We want to change this situation with free educational materials.

The development of technology, trends in the financial market and the expansion of available financial services and products have led to the fact that financial literacy is becoming an increasingly necessary and important skill for modern man. Awareness of the importance of financial literacy in Croatia is shown by the fact that in June 2021 the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted a new National Strategic Framework for Consumer Financial Literacy for the period from 2021 to 2026, which plans to achieve better financial management of Croatian citizens by strengthening financial education.

The lack of mandatory financial education through the education system, but in some cases also the insufficient level of financial literacy of parents, from whom children learn how to manage money, are some of the reasons why young people are an extremely vulnerable group when it comes to financial literacy.

The Piggy Bank project is intended for the financial literacy of all citizens, and we have enabled the free use of educational materials created as part of the project through our platform, O2 - education to sustainability. Find out more about the project in the HRT program, Good Morning Croatia, in which Carmen Tariba and Miro Tariba were guests.
