Završen projekt 'Europskim projektom do educiranog osoblja u području usluga čišćenja'

Callidus, in cooperation with partners Adria Group, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Croatian Employment Service, successfully implemented the project 'European project to educate staff in the field of cleaning services'. With the final conference, which, due to the epidemiological situation caused by the spread of the disease COVID 19, was held on Thursday, in an online format, the project was ceremonially brought to an end.

Among the main goals of the project, focused on the development and implementation of an educational program for personnel in the field of cleaning, was to adapt vulnerable groups to the labor market, increase their competences and connect them with employers, while also meeting the needs of the labor market and lowering the unemployment rate. The total value of the project itself is HRK 898,172.59, and the funds are provided from the European Social Fund.

The implementation of the program was based on theoretical classes, the implementation of which was carried out by Callidus experts, and on practical classes in which the mentors were employees of the Adria Group, which gave the implementation of this program an economic dimension. A total of 120 hours of classes were conducted under the mentoring of experts, and the program was verified, and upon successful completion of the education, the occupation was entered in the participant's e-work book.

The programs offered by Callidus respond to the needs of employers and create educated individuals who are ready to meet the challenges of the market. One such program is the 'European project to educate staff in the field of cleaning services'. We are extremely glad that by implementing it, we provided the participants with additional knowledge and skills and had a positive impact on their personal development and future on the labor market. Also, the project is a real example of our excellent cooperation with partners from the real sector and with prominent state and economic institutions, all of which provides a highly integrated approach to the programs we implement., pointed out Antonija Briševac, project manager at Callidus. The training was presented to the participants by the Croatian Employment Service, and it was attended by unemployed persons, members of national minorities and persons over 50 years of age. In cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, as part of the project, an Employment Club was established, where motivational workshops, group and individual counseling sessions were held.
