With the EU project, we educate unemployed people according to the needs of the labor market
The project "European project for educated personnel in the field of cleaning services" worth almost HRK 900,000 was presented.
On Thursday, July 4th, the Callidus Adult Education Institution presented the project "European project to educated personnel in the field of cleaning services” which is aimed at the development and implementation of a new educational program for cleaners, for which it has been established that there is a need on the labor market. The Croatian Employment Service, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and partners from the Adria Group also participate in the project.
Through the project, education will be provided for 41 unemployed persons who represent the target group within the project. The group consists of a socially sensitive population, of which members of national minorities and people over 50 years of age stand out, for whom lack of competence is a major obstacle in obtaining a job. The problem is present throughout Croatia, and the main cause is the non-existent formally accredited program for adult education, which was created according to the demands and needs of the labor market.
With this project, we ensure an increase in the employability of users and enable the effective implementation of the Human Resources Development Strategy. The total value of the project is HRK 898,172.59, and all funds are provided by the European Social Fund.
