We have successfully developed an educational center for the training and development of personnel in the automotive industry

Last week we successfully completed the Austrian Development Agency project "Technical Academy for the Automotive Sector in Serbia" (TechAK) worth almost €1 million

At the closing conference of the ADA TechAk project, well-deserved certificates were distributed to the participants of the pilot education this week, which successfully completed the project of establishing ADA TechAk. 

The main goal of the partner project of the Technical Academy (TechAk), worth almost one million euros, is the development of an educational center that will continuously train and improve personnel for the needs of the development of the automotive industry in Serbia. The result of the project is an educated staff whose knowledge and skills are immediately usable in workplaces in the automotive industry. This reduces the time and costs required when hiring the workforce and encourages investments that largely depend on qualified personnel.

The establishment of the Technical Academy will correct the insufficient orientation of professional education towards the labor market, and at the same time ensure and speed up the transfer of knowledge and skills (know-how) oriented to the needs of the Serbian automotive industry. During its establishment, the Academy significantly improved the communication of needs between the labor market, the growing automotive industry and educational institutions in Serbia, and good communication will continue in the future.

Partners in the project are the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, bfi Burgenland, the Austrian Development Agency, and Weidiger & Partner.
