We are developing a Technical Academy for the automotive industry in Serbia
With a project worth almost one million euros, we are developing an educational center for the training and development of personnel in the automotive industry in Serbia
The main goal of the partnership project, worth almost one million euros, is the development of an educational center that will train and improve staff for the needs of the development of the automotive industry in Serbia.
In mid-November, the kick-off meeting of the partnership project financed by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) called "Technical Academy for Automobile Cluster in Serbia". The project holder is BFI, and the project partners are Callidus education, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the company Weidinger & Partner.
Callidus education, together with foreign partners, are recognized as leading educational experts in the region, with rich experience in the field of developing educational programs and encouraging lifelong education.
The main activities of the partnership project are:
- Establishment TechAK as an integral part of the educational activities of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce
- Curriculum development with blended learning methodology
- Training a total of 30 trainers
- Training a total of 20 mentors
- Launching a pilot program for at least 200 participants of the Academy
- Dissemination of the project and accompanying activities
The Republic of Serbia has recognized the necessity of investing in education, especially in companies that have significant growth potential and offer greater employment opportunities. New investments and realizing the full potential of economic growth depend to a large extent on qualified personnel.
By establishment Technical academies the insufficient orientation of professional education towards the labor market would be corrected, and at the same time the transfer of knowledge and skills (know-how) oriented to the needs of the labor market, i.e. the Serbian automobile industry, would be ensured and accelerated. The Academy will significantly improve the communication of needs between the labor market, the growing automotive industry and educational institutions in Serbia.
With this project, Callidus education is recognized as a socially responsible partner that, together with a large network of foreign partners and experts, participates in numerous educational projects and actively works to improve the education system.
