With the new Erasmus+ project, we encourage easier inclusion of young people in the education system

The "Game of Phones" project is our new #ERasmus+ project worth HRK 1.2 million that will help young people to get involved in the education system faster and easier

Novim Erasmus+ projektom potičemo lakše uključivanje mladih u obrazovni sustav

Game of Phones is a partnership Erasmus+ project of Ireland, Croatia, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus which aims to design and develop challenge-based web-based tasks for young people to build skills and competences that will help their reintegration into education or employment.

In the partner countries of this project, based on the devastating statistical data for the NEET group (Spain 18.3 %, Croatia 16.7 %, Portugal, 12.6 %, etc.), the need to create solutions and provide new opportunities to people through a project that will include them in the education process.

Activities:

  • Development of learning content for webquest challenges
  • Creation of 32 webquest resources in an adequate media format for learning on mobile platforms and smartphones
    • Achieving a deeper knowledge and understanding of the origins and functioning of the EU
    • An investigation into the historically linked diversities and cultural identities of Europe
    • Promotion of multicultural and socioeconomic dimensions of European society
    • Demonstration of the identity of the national culture, ie its compatibility with the European identity
  • Development of the Mozilla Badges framework to help participants with the aim of improving knowledge and further motivation
  • Identification of key interest groups that will be members of the local interest group forum
  • Some of the key skills that are sought to be achieved by educating candidates are: critical thinking, problem solving, research, digitization, communication, teamwork, etc.

Target group: Adults and teachers working with young people and people from the NEET group

* Webquest = a platform that will offer the target group great opportunities to acquire knowledge through various challenges

* Mozilla Badges = a way to evaluate students through awarding them with badges

* NEET is an acronym that denotes young people between 18 and 24 (in Croatia between 15 and 29) years old who are not employed, not in education or training (English: Not in Employment, Education or Training)
