With free workshops, we help unemployed people to be more competitive
With free workshops, we solve the problem of insufficient digital literacy of unemployed people and increase their competitiveness on the labor market.
As part of the Erasmus+ Skill IT project, we held a free two-day training (March 12-13, 2018) for 12 unemployed people from the Employment Service who have a low level of qualifications related to digital skills.
The topics of the education were various, and the education was adapted to the individual needs of the participants.
During the two-day education, unemployed people had the opportunity to acquire basic digital competencies such as:
- Data and information management
- Communication on the Internet
- Money transactions and online payments
- Use of data storage and sharing services (cloud)
- Online security
- Using the Microsoft Office suite
- Use and management of electronic mail.
The training was conducted by Callidus-educated trainers and mentors, who had previously completed training for this activity as part of this Erasmus project and are responsible for the implementation of the training and the sustainability of the project. Callidus trainers, mentors and participants are satisfied with this training, the aim of which was to strengthen basic IT knowledge and digital competence.
