Free education at Callidus with a voucher!

In the period from April 1, 2022 to 2026, employed and unemployed persons will be able to request a voucher for their education

Did you know that at the moment you can attend some of the educational programs offered by Callidus, which serve to acquire green and digital skills, completely free of charge or partially co-financed by the CES?

The new Adult Education Act adopted at the end of 2021 provides for the issuance of vouchers for the education of employed and unemployed persons to be used for formal and informal education programs in order to facilitate access to the labor market.

 In the period from April 1, 2022 to 2026, employed and unemployed people will be able to request a voucher for their education!

What are education vouchers?

• Voucher is a financial instrument for the allocation of public funds for adult education in the field of green and digital occupations.
• The user chooses the educational program and education provider himself
• User can use only one voucher for education financed with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026.

• The cost of the education program in the amount of the approved voucher is paid directly to the selected education service provider
• In the event that the cost of the education program is higher than the amount of the voucher, there is a possibility that the difference in amount will be paid by the user or the employer
• The education program can last:

• for an unemployed person for up to six months
• for an employed person for up to 10 months (due to the possibility of harmonizing the implementation of the program with the participant's work obligations)

Who can use the education voucher?

According to the official site of CES vouchers in Callidus can be used by the vast majority of citizens: 

• all unemployed and employed persons from the age of 15.

Vouchers cannot use: 

• persons who are in the regular education system
• persons who are in the system of higher education and science
• persons who are pension beneficiaries according to the general regulation governing pension insurance.

How to use the voucher for free education?

The starting point for realizing the right to a voucher is the website voucheri.hzz.hr/ where you can find all the information about the application process, and the offer of new available Callidus programs is updated.

 

When you find the desired Callidus program in the voucher system, you need to request it offer from Callidus (via the application form below) that you need in order to submit a request to the CES. The Callidus offer is not binding and only serves to apply for the use of vouchers on the CES website.
