Objectives:
Skills4Life addresses the common challenge of low social inclusion and employability of young people leaving alternative care in the Danube region. The aim is to improve leaving care policies and develop an innovative educational programme focused on personal and professional skills, mentoring, and support for employment and independent living.

Activities:

  • Development and pilot testing of the Skills4Life innovative training and mentoring programme
  • Pilot actions for youth participation in education, internships, and the labour market
  • Preparation of the Danube Skills4Life strategy and action plan
  • Organisation of job fairs and employer networking
  • Building the Skills4Life Youth Empowerment Network

Impact:
The project will increase employability and quality of life for young people leaving alternative care by developing key skills and creating opportunities for integration. Through transnational cooperation, it strengthens institutional capacities and supports policy alignment across the region.
