3D Academy Train-the-Trainers Event in Croatia

The 3D Academy project successfully delivered a Train-the-Trainers event in Zagreb, Croatia from the 24th to the 28th of March 2025. Over the course of five days, VET professionals from across Europe gathered to build their expertise in delivering training programmes based on cutting-edge 3D technologies.

The training was hosted by Croatian partners 3D Grupa, a key player in the regional innovation ecosystem. 3D Grupa Cluster is a network of 18 members, primarily SMEs, dedicated to boosting regional industry competitiveness by integrating advanced 3D technologies into business processes. Through its regional 3D reference centre, industry events, and expert-led initiatives, the Cluster supports innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning in the 3D tech sector.

Participants engaged in a balanced mix of theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on activities, delivered by industry and education experts. From exploring the fundamentals of 3D printing, scanning, and modelling, to discussing real-world application in educational contexts, the training empowered participants to integrate 3D technologies into their teaching practice in meaningful and effective ways.

As the 3D Academy project moves forward, the insights and experiences shared during this training will directly contribute to the successful rollout of pilot activities and the long-term impact of the programme across Europe’s VET landscape.
