22 unemployed become the third generation of Callidus' innovative education "Drogerist"
By the end of October, more than 70 people will complete the druggist retraining program. The program includes interesting classes and useful practice in dm.

After 50 unemployed people became the first generation of trained druggists in Croatia at the beginning of last year, this year twenty unemployed people are enrolling in the same retraining program, which will make them the 3rd generation that has completed this innovative education intended for the needs of the labor market.
By the end of October, more than 70 people will have finished retraining program by profession druggist. With the support of the Croatian Employment Service and dm, participants will learn about the details and specifics of the drugstore range, basic business processes, the basics of marketing and business communication. All participants have the opportunity to practice what they learned during the course practical part of teaching which takes place in dm stores with the mentoring support of expert dm employees who were also successfully educated at Callidus.
Drogerist, an educational program developed by the Callidus Educational Institution, is the first educational program in Croatia aimed at developing a new standard drugstore occupation according to the Croatian Qualification Framework. The educational program of the Callidus Institution and the entire project was co-financed from EU funds, with the purpose of long-term development of vocational education, aimed at the quality, efficiency and relevance of education to the needs of the labor market.
The education is adapted to the needs of the drugstore market and the labor market, because today customers in drugstores want a specific product that they can quickly buy in a specialized store - a drugstore, and in addition they often ask for advice or specific information about a specific product, recommendation or advice. It requires everything specific knowledge and skills which until the appearance of the "Drugologist" education did not cover any existing profession.
The "Drogerist" education consists of a total of 188 hours of regular classes, of which 100 hours are practical work in dm stores. With this kind of education, Callidus continues to develop innovative programs that have a positive impact on employment and provide participants with interesting and useful work-based learning and learning that follows the needs arising from real practice.
Preparations are also being completed for the enrollment of a new generation of educated dm mentors who will contribute to the long-term sustainability of this profession with their mentoring activities and ensure that all participants, in addition to theoretical knowledge, also gain much-needed practical experience.
